The Global Climate CTA Fund is managed by Genuine Trading Solutions a registered CTA firm managing portfolio assets since 2005. In addition to providing Portfolio Management services to the Fund, the company also provides risk management and hedging services to a variety of institutions such as hedge funds, pension funds, corporations and select individual investors.
The trading of carbon emissions and greenhouse gases is a relatively new industry group with exchange traded products available on the various world Climate Exchanges. During the preceeding year, there has been a dramatic level of increased demand for greater transparency and liquidity within the investment world. As a result, we offer both a pooled investment structure and seperately managed accounts.
A managed account is simply an account held in the name of the investor. All monies are segregated and managed independant of funds held by other investors. Our pooled investment structure is fully registered and held off-shore for the benefit of tax reporting and does not have residency restrictions as does a typical on-shore investment fund.
